Abbey Pynford “Basement Engineering Specialists” has evolved from the company's original specialism’s of restricted access mini rig piling, lifting and moving, underpinning and high level space creation engineering, of which all elements contribute to the design and construction of basements. In developing our proven successful record of specialist engineering in these sectors we have developed the expertise, resources and techniques that lend themselves to the varied and often complicated basement market.

Our portfolio of clients has grown rapidly over the past 10 years as the market has developed and our reputation for geo structural design, innovation and quality has increased . We are familiar with working either directly for the private homeowner, architects, consulting engineers or developers and project management teams. Abbey Pynford's reputation for outstanding service and delivery is renowned throughout the UK.

Our restricted access piling equipment enables us to install bored pile retaining walls with rigs which can traffic through widths as little as 800mm and working heights of 2.4 to 2.8m. All our restricted access piling rigs are fully guarded in accordance with the HSE requirements.

Our restricted access piling works have featured in NCE, Railway Strategies and Ground Engineering. Our basement works have featured on the Discovery Channel in 2008 and will be featured in both the RIBA Annual London Review 2010 Publication and Interiors Publication 2010.
