Basements - Case Study : Single Storey Basement

Works included:

Design and construction of a single storey 200m2 basement beneath a detached home in Hampstead. Installation of a contiguous piled wall, break out and temporary stooling of existing internal and external brickwork walls. Installation of reinforced concrete stem underpinning/retaining wall bases and reinforced concrete ground level slab. Excavation of the basement. Installation of reinforced concrete structural walls and basement floor slab. Installation of drainage and water/waterproofing management system.

This project will be feautred in the  Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) annual publication.
