Basements - Case Study : 2 Storey Basement

Works included:

Design and construction of a new 2 storey basement structure beneath an existing 4 storey listed building.  Top down construction included installation of a piled underpinning raft, contiguous piled retaining wall through gravels into clay, installation of reinforced concrete stem underpinning retaining wall and installation of a 25m long swimming pool.  Excavation and installation of 300m; basement slab, sub-structure drainage and reinforced concrete lining walls.
