Rail - Working Environment

Abbey Pynford Rail Working Environments

A common feature of railway works is the restricted nature of access to – and often at – the worksite. Piling is frequently needed within existing station buildings, below bridges, in tunnels, upon steel railway embankments, or on existing platforms.

Works are often undertaken close to existing tracks in traffic hours – this dictates the use of compact and lightweight piling rig, which are able to construct piles similar in size and capacity as those installed by equipment 20 times larger than normal sites.
