Scope of work:

• In-house design and installation of Abbey Pynford’s Housedeck solution for new houses and studios
• Bespoke designed Engineered working platform to underside of Housedeck slab, granular surface in RPA and Installation of 250mm CFA piles
• We proved that there was no risk of clay heave at this site, which meant there was no requirement for an anti-heave void – this saved the client a considerable volume of excavation/spoil removal
• The installation of non-voided slabs also saved considerable time during construction – 30% quicker the pile and beam alternative
• Due to the soft surface subsoils, the use of a medium size rig avoided the need for a deep traditional piling mat
