Scope of work:

Abbey Pynford teamed up with Mears New Homes to design and build foundations for an exclusive development.
We designed and installed 225mm thick reinforced concrete slabs using our patented Brick Support Unit edge shutter system.
In the areas of the site with contaminated soil we installed 725No. 250mm diameter Rotary Displacement Piles to a depth of 7.5m, eradicating spoil. Housedeck also reduced the excavation required, (due to no requirement for a piling matt or ground beams) reducing the cost of disposal of contaminated spoil.
In the areas with non-contaminated soils we installed 70No. 250mm diameter CFA piles, to a depth of 7.5m.
