Our patented piled raft foundations offer the most cost-effective piled schemes on the market. They also improve site safety and can increase project viability on Brownfield and marginal sites. 

Our design and build service covers residential (Housedeck) and commercial (Comdeck) developments. 

• Cost

When piling is required, our engineered foundations offer the cheapest solution (on est. 90% of projects). As an alternative to traditional Pile and Beam foundations, we can offer our clients savings between £50-100per SQM.

This saving is primarily achieved by removing the need for groundbeams, substructure masonry and Beam & Block floors, which are replaced by our piled raft system. 

In addition to this, our systems require significantly less excavation than traditional foundations, creating savings in excavation and spoil removal costs.

Due to the raft design and our proprietary shutter system, the following features of a Pile and Beam foundations are not required; 

• Thick piling mats (By using either our 50mm Concrete Working Surface or reduced piling mats, often up to -50% thickness).
• Trench excavation. 
• Construction of ground beams.
• Pre-cast floors.
• Substructure brickwork. 
• The associated cost of plant and management.

Our piled rafts systems are not only the go-to solution for piled foundations, they have also proven to be cost-effective against trench fill foundations. Similarly, this is achieved by reducing material requirements, excavation costs and doing away with pre-cast floors. 

By mitigating these traditional processes, we can reduce your costs in the ground and increase project viability. 

• Brownfield and marginal sites 

As stated above, the reduced cost of our foundations allows our clients to build on marginal sites that would previously not be viable. Such sites include Greenfield plots with challenging ground conditions, as well as Brownfield land. 

• Improved Health & Safety

By removing the traditional processes, we can make your site safer. Our systems require minimal manual handling, minimal trip hazards, no open excavations, no overhead cranes and reduced plant movement. 

All our foundation systems are BBA certified and warranty provider approved: NHBC, Premier Guarantee and LABC. All engineered solutions are also fully underwritten. 

• A seamless & accountable service

With a focus on communication with all parties, we strive to create a seamless operation from enquiry to completion; offering an integrated approach to our services, including an in-house design team and a plant division, we provide a one-stop service for foundations.

As a design and build service, we also remove the traditional interface between Pilers and Groundworkers, mitigating any problems between design and installation.

• Treesafe

Increasingly frequently, our clients’ designs and/or planning permission require building in Root Protection Areas (RPA). To actualise these schemes, we offer our Treesafe approach on affected plots.
