Role Overview

 

Duties & Responsibilities
  • All technical aspects of the companies’ activities, especially technical compliance.
  • Research and Development for the whole company.
  • Continual improvement of all aspects of our proposed offerings to clients.
  • Financial – justification for RD spent and monitoring of costs.
  • Representing the company in respect of proposals to clients and all other technical matters including professional bodies.
  • Compliance to all technical standards including all aspects of H+S.
  • Updating all accreditations and certificates that require technical input – eg BBA certificate.
  • Participate on the technical committee of FPS
  • Training of junior staff members.
  • Mentoring junior staff members where requested.
  • Working with all other individuals within the company in respect of your role, including the encouragement of ideas, and recording /managing all actions that flow thereafter.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Geostructural technical skills to a high level.
  • Ability to communicate ideas, to staff and clients, in a compelling manner.
  • Ability to work with other staff members, listen, be empathetic, suggest and develop an initial idea into a commercially viable concept.
  • Ability to work with others to ensure that the development of concepts are either abandoned for commercial reasons, or managed efficiently to become a viable offering for our clients.
  • Ability to work with others to ensure the company or individuals produce competitive commercially acceptable proposals.
